Hard Rock:
See what picks Slash, Aerosmith and other hard rockers play.
Why do they call it Vintage Tone?
It is called Vintage Tone because years ago the outer shell casing of Atlantic Hawksbill Sea Turtles (Tortoise Shell) was used to make guitar picks. These guitar picks produced a Great Tone!
Using the Tortoise Shell for picks was banned in the 70's. Celluloid was and is popular because it closely imitates the Vintage Tone and flexibility of the Tortoise Shell pick.
